I especially love the second... especially the dancer/basketball player ankle wraps!?!
Talk to me about the first gal. Is that a purposeful stylistic thing, in that the detailed part of the image is so incredibly, impeccably intricate -- while the face, while not exactly blank, is near that? Almost like you're protecting her identity? Or were you just lazy on the face? Just wondering; I'm not mad either way.
My characters are more fashion designs than actual characters which is usually why I skimp on the face a lot. The actual person is basically a frame to put clothes on. Drawing the face is boring when you have a ridiculous outfit to draw and all that.
If I was a REAL character designer I'd think about what kind of personality they have and define their features based on that.
Lastly I suppose I felt like a non detailed face would be good for that character.
